Made up of over 4,000 underwater educators, scuba divers with disabilities and supporting members, located in over 45 countries, the Handicapped Scuba Association is dedicated to assuring that people with disabilities are given the same opportunity to receive quality training, certification and dive adventures as the able bodied population.

The Fun Part

Call 972-416-8400 to schedule your assessment with one of our certified instructors.  We have worked with people of all abilities.  Depending on your assessment, we will create a scuba plan specifically for you.

• You will learn skills and work with your buddies in confined water.
• Then, you will go to our lake venue to practice your open water skills

What You Learn

• Experience what scuba diving is like under the direct care and supervision of PADI Instructors
• Take your first breath underwater
• Learn about and use scuba diving equipment with techniques that meet your specific needs.

We work with DivePirates.org and often the scuba gear for you and your buddy is provided.
