Renee Swank

I tried scuba diving for the first time while on a work trip to Cebu, Philippines in 2003 via a Discover Scuba class and I fell in love with the underwater world. I got certified as a Scuba Diver in 2004 while I continued to travel often to Cebu. I wanted to explore other waters and go on tropical vacations with family and friends, so I got certified as an Open Water Diver in 2010. When my daughter got certified at 13 years old in 2013, I advanced to a Rescue Diver and I continued my diving education from there.

I'm currently a PADI Master Scuba Instructor and SDI Open Water Scuba Instructor. I teach classes in Nitrox, underwater navigation, buoyancy, underwater digital photography, search and recovery, emergency first responder, and more. Scuba diving can be such an exciting and life changing experience, and I enjoy helping students to learn new skills in this underwater world!

I've been diving all over the world, including Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, Little Cayman, Cozumel, Grand Bahama, Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Dominican Republic, and Philippines. In the USA, I've been to the Flower Gardens, Kauai, St. Croix, Valhalla Missle Silo, Windy Point Park at Lake Travis, Florida Keys, and of course, Scuba Ranch many many times. I've been cavern diving in Tulum and all over Florida, including Vortex Springs, Morrison Springs, Blue Springs, and Ginnie Springs. I've went on our St. Mary's River Georgia dive trip twice in 2020 and found lots of huge Megalodon sharks teeth.
