Favorite class: Rescue because I get to watch divers truly embrace their strengths and expand their confidence as divers

After growing up watching Sea Hunt episodes during the sixties I finally got a chance to actually experience the underwater world in 1992.  I was immediately hooked and 3 months after finishing my open water certification I was in the divemaster program a year later I became an instructor and have never looked back.  Diving has led me to so many personal discoveries and enjoyment and years later I had the privilege of meeting and shaking the hand of the man who got me started, Lloyd Bridges aka Mike Nelson, the star of Sea Hunt.  What a ride!
