Feb 3rd: Cutting the holes and setting up the tent on the ice starts at 10:30 a.m.
Feb 4th: Instructor course begins 7am in the meeting room
Feb 5th: We meet on ice 8:30am and conclude instructor course at 4pm.
Feb 5th: 7pm -10pm Social in meeting hall
Cash Bar with snacks and socialize
Feb 6th: 7am diver instruction begins in meeting hall 9am dives on ice
Feb 7th 8am diver instruction and dives on ice until complete.
Feb 7th 6:30pm Closing social with exciting raffle prizes
We have excellent facilities on the ice with a large event tent and commercial heaters. Hot food and drinks will be provided for lunch.
We will provide support for each store to teach classes or experience dives for those already certified in ice diving.
250.00 provides 2 days of diving, 3 air fills, event memorabilia, entrance to Social, hot lunch, and drinks on ice.
Certifications are purchased through your local shop. If you don’t have a participating shop, we can get you set up with our collaborating shops.
PADI has generously stepped up as our headline sponsor, providing unparalleled access to ice training for both Instructors and divers, and will be the certification delivered on-site. However, all shops and agencies are welcome to participate and use our logistics; we also have shops from SSI attending.
Please call with any questions on how your shop can participate and be a part of this unique experience. Our goal is to make any dive shop that participates a promoted sponsor, and we provide the logistics. We all work together, and everyone wins with an event we can all call our own.
Early bird entrance fee is $250 for all participants who register by Nov 30th, after that the entrance fee will be $275. The entrance fee does not cover the Ice Diver certification, which is an additional charge.
We do our best to get fun divers 4 dives (2 dives a day), but it is not guaranteed. This is a team event, so fun divers are expected to assist with tending lines and acting as safety divers for the other fun divers as well.
